SEND Information Report

At Barcroft Academy we are committed to ensuring that all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), are supported to achieve their full potential and to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

This SEND Information Report outlines how our academy identifies, assesses and supports children with SEND. It explains the provision we make for pupils with additional needs and how we work in partnership with parents, carers, pupils and external professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for every child.

The information in this report is provided in line with the Special Educational Needs and Disability Regulations 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice: 0–25 years (2015). It should be read alongside our SEND Policy and other relevant academy policies.

We recognise that every child is unique. Our approach to SEND is inclusive, child-centred and flexible, ensuring that support is tailored to individual needs. We believe that strong communication and collaboration between home and school is essential, and we encourage parents and carers to contact us if they have any questions or concerns.

If you would like further information or wish to discuss your child’s needs, please contact our SENDCo (Mrs Faye Edwards) via the academy office.
